Grades

I know this is another post about random things, but I feel that it should be addressed. Midterm grades are coming out soon (actually, I think it's midterm today). Everyone is stressing out about grades, but I think we should just take a deep breath. Relax. Calm ourselves. We can't stress about something like this, because if we knew we were going to get horrible grades and we were going to stress about it like this, then we should have gotten better grades during the trimester.

Seriously, am I the only one that cares about grades anymore? I feel like I am. I work hard during the trimester to get good grades, and I don't stress at the end of the trimester because I know my grades are going to be satisfactory for me. I try not to get worked up over a slightly lower grade because I know that I worked hard for it even though it is not the grade I want. This just means that I will have to work harder next trimester to get a better grade. Starting with a clean slate each trimester always helps.

So don't stress this trimester. Take a deep breath, and if you know you are going to get a bad grade, just make a goal to work harder next trimester to get the A or the B that you want. You will feel better knowing that you worked hard for it and know that you deserve it.
